This survey focuses on how women relate themselves to their homes. The universe is 25-35 years old unmarried women who study or work but live with their parental families. The survey presupposes that women indeed do want to go away from home. Nevertheless, it is understood that they don’t or can’t, even if they have economic independence. In response to questions formulated with the intention of probing into aforementioned inability, eight of the interviewed women reported their commitment to their families as their prime reason for not doing so. Further probing revealed that women were afraid of experiencing a backdrop in their living standards. As the outcome of the survey it is understood that women are bored of living with their families who embrace and look after them like a little child but they helplessly face an infantile existence.
