The major goal of this article is to underline the importance of participation of women who have environmental competence due to their traditional societal roles of women, in professional environmental management and evaluate the conceptual change regarding to environment and women relations from 1992 to 2012. In this study, secondary research technique is used. Sets of documents such as selected literature about gender and environmental theories and practices, gender and environmental policy documentations and official records from various international institutions, were reviewed specifically in terms of gender-environmental relationship. In this poster, the relationship between women-environment is evaluated in the framework of the terms which are mentioned under the topic of key words, of gender, eco-feminism, sustainability.
