Turkish Conservatism as a cultural apparatus, has a great role in the mollification of radical modernity. Mild modernisation of women is an essential part of this cultural language of conservatism. Ayverdi, as a conservative woman, deals with this mildy modern tranformation of women in behalf of maintaining of old cultural merits. She is also interested in details life style. Ayverdi highlights the “Turkish Muslim woman” as a resistant moral esence of Conservatism and Turkish Modernisation.
